THE BOAT CLUB TRUST

The Jesus College Boat Club Trust was created in 1971 to support the club through the purchase of rowing equipment; more recently it has added significant support for training camps.

The JCBC has benefited greatly both from the generosity of former members who have donated to the Trust and from the time committed by Trustees. Without their efforts, we would not be able to acquire the equipment to stay a top Cambridge college for men’s and women’s rowing.

In the past few years, the Trust has funded 2 Filippi VIIIs, 3 Filippi pairs and numerous ergos and blades, making the JCBC among the best equipped in Cambridge. The Trust has for many years part-funded a winter training camp in Europe where the top squads and best novices get concentrated training and coaching, and develop rapidly. The club thus benefits from the generosity of former members, many of whom also benefitted from such support.

If you would like to have a positive impact on the continuing fortunes of the club, please contact the Development Office (development@jesus.cam.ac.uk) or complete the Standing Order/Gift Aid Form below and return it to the address shown.

For recent graduates where a modest commitment is more manageable, please become a Graduate Donor by giving a minimum of £1 a month, by completing the relevant form.
